Mark Lee McLain, age 62 of Danbury, died peacefully on December 11, 2025 at the St. John Paul II Center, Danbury with his family by his side. 

Born in Bridgeport on December 2, 1963 he was the beloved son of Norma Schaible McLain of Woodbridge and the late Paul Herbert McLain.  Mr. McLain was raised in Ansonia and was a 1981 graduate of Ansonia High School. 

He was employed as a truck driver for the Inline Plastics Company of Shelton, prior to working as a driver for Cars On Location of Seymour, a job he truly enjoyed.  Mark would drive special interest and classic vehicles to movie productions, once even meeting Kris Kristofferson. 

In his down time, Mr. Mclain enjoyed ice fishing, skiing, camping and the great outdoors.  His heart held a special place for his canine friends at his Danbury residence. 

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his devoted sisters and brother, Donna Lonergan of Ansonia; Karen Blanchard and her husband, Keith of Seymour, Keith McLain and his wife, JeanAnn of Seymour; seven nieces and nephews; ten great-nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces and nephews. 

Mr. McLain was predeceased by a brother, Paul K. McLain and a brother-in-law, John Lonergan.  A springtime celebration of life service will be announced by the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Ansonia Animal Shelter, North Division Street, Ansonia, CT 06401.  Online condolences may be made at www.wakeleememorial.com.
