The Plumb Memorial Library will be displaying the works of artist Rick Senft from January 5th through March 31st.  The Plumb Memorial Library is located at 65 Wooster Street in Shelton.

Rick is an award-winning artist from Milford, CT.  His works have been displayed in galleries along the East Coast and hang in collections both here in the United States and in other countries.  He has been represented by the Gilded Lily Gallery in Milford for twenty years.

He works in oils and acrylics and has techniques which enable him to render his subjects in any way he sees fit and to enhance the colors nature starts with.  His works include land and seascapes, shore birds, and commissioned portraits of people, pets, home studies, and everything in between.

Rick recently illustrated the lyrics of a song by Connecticut singer/songwriter Frank Critelli which became a children’s book titled “Thanks for Your Understanding”.

Rick’s artwork will be on display in the lower level Meeting Room as well as the Gallery upstairs during open hours.
