Monday, Jan. 5, 2026

1:56 a.m. Officers responded to a reported assault on Woodbridge Avenue.

8:03 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near North Cliff Street and State Street.

2:20 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident near Elm Street and Gracie Lane.

3:31 p.m. Police were called for a medical assist near Bridge Street and Main Street.

7:03 p.m. Officers responded to a reported larceny on East Main Street.

11:36 p.m. Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from Ells Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026

5:47 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Olson Drive.

7:35 a.m. Officers charged a 19-year-old man with illegal discharge of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, first-degree reckless endangerment, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and risk of injury to a child.

10 a.m. Police charged a 27-year-old man with evading responsibility in an accident, second-degree criminal mischief, failure to drive in the proper lane, and driving under suspension.

12:23 p.m. Police received a report of an abandoned motor vehicle on Lester Street.

4:08 p.m. Police charged a 24-year-old Bridgeport woman with failure to appear in court and failure to pay a fine.

8:34 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle on Westfield Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026

1:08 a.m. During a traffic stop, police charged a 37-year-old man on Pershing Drive with improper use of a license/registration, failure to comply with handicapped parking regulations, failure to insure a motor vehicle, and driving under suspension.

5:27 a.m. Police received a report that two missing children, ages 16 and 14, went missing after last being seen near High Street. Both children were found safe later that day.

9:41 a.m. Police received a report of disorderly conduct on North Prospect Street.

12:56 p.m. A school resource officer responded to a reported drug/narcotic violation at Ansonia High School.

7:13 p.m. Police responded to a juvenile matter on Cottage Avenue.

11:54 p.m. Police charged a 36-year-old Seymour man on Pershing Drive with driving under the influence and speeding.

Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026

10:35 a.m. Police charged a 28-year-old Shelton woman with failure to appear in court.

1:11 p.m. Police conducted radar enforcement on Beaver Street.

4:15 p.m. A caller reported suspicious activity on Benz Street.

6:29 p.m. Police received a report of illegal parking near Smith Street and North State Street.

8:01 p.m. Police received a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Division Street.

Friday, Jan. 9, 2026

2:03 p.m. Police were called to Hodge Avenue for a medical assist.

2:08 p.m. Police received a report of disorderly conduct on Upland Terrace.

6:21 p.m. Officers were called to Seymour to assist police there.

1:59 a.m. A caller dialed 911, but hung up.

5:05 a.m. Police charged a 42-year-old Derby man on High Street with third degree-assault, disorderly conduct, and first-degree trespassing.

9:37 a.m. Police received a report of stolen motor vehicle parts from North Main Street.

10:54 a.m. Police received a report of stolen motor vehicle parts from Arch Street.

1:38 p.m. Officers responded to a juvenile matter on Division Street.

2:58 p.m. Police received a report of stolen motor vehicle parts from Locke Street.
