David K. Parks, a 62-year-old Ansonia resident, passed away Jan. 5.
He was born Feb. 8, 1962 in Derby, son of Anna Gattison of Ansonia and the late Julius Parks, and worked as a machinist for Hershey Metal Co. He graduated from Ansonia High School, Class of ’80 and was an avid N.Y. Giants & N.Y. Knicks fan. In addition to his mother, he leaves four sisters, Janet Hawkes & Barbara Parks, both of Ansonia, and Judith Parks-Morgan of Waterbury and Elizabeth Johnson of South Windsor, CT. He is also survived by his devoted partner Marisol Hernandez of Ansonia.
Funeral services will be held at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.
