Roma S. Sanford, 90, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday Jan.10, 2026 in The Charter Senior Living of Orange.
She is the widow of Wendell Sanford. Born in LaRue, Ohio on May 9,1935 to Odd and Lucill (Bulgar) Sessler and was employed as a waitress for Jimmie’s of West Haven.
Survivors 4 daughters Debra (Victor) Saavedra of Branford, Cheryl (Gerald) Childs of Ansonia Robyn (Robert) Krugel of Tenn. and Wendy (Daniel) LaRese of TN.
Son Scott (Monica) Sanford, of Plainville 10 Grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren Predeceased by 12 Brothers and sisters.
Interment for Roma and Wendell will be in the Columbarium at Ct. Veterans Cemetery Middletown, CT. on May 2 at 10:00 a.m. Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
