Joyce B. O’Neill, age 80, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Joyce was born in Bridgeport on May 6, 1945, daughter of the late Frank and Stella Pierce, and she lived in Shelton for most of her life.
She worked as a Home Health Aide. Joyce loved to draw and paint and she created incredible pen and ink drawings. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
She is the beloved mother of Bryan O’Neill and his wife Deborah and Daniel O’Neill and his wife Tanya, and the proud grandmother of Nicholas, Tonya, Michael, John, and Patrick O’Neill. She also is survived by two sisters, Mimi and Dolores, and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was was predeceased by two sisters, Pat and Jean.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
