Louise V. Burkowsky, 83, of Ansonia, loving wife of Francis Burkowsky, passed away on February 7, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born in Derby, CT on November 20, 1942, a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Seabury Villers. In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her children Janet McDade, Susan Sniffin and her husband Michael, FJ Burkowsky and his wife Brandi, her grandchildren Harry and Mali McDade, Jack Panula, Nicholas and Julia Sniffin, and Spenser, Dylan and Trent Burkowsky. She was predeceased by her sister Sandra Whitney and son-in-law Ted McDade. Louise cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, which included attending their sporting events, and cooking and quilting for them. She also enjoyed being outdoors, especially at their family cabin in Vermont. Louise’s family would like to thank the staff at Bridgeport Hospital for the care she received in her final days.
