OXFORD – Linda (Carnaroli) Cannone, age 81 of Oxford, loving wife of the late Robert Cannone, Jr., entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Born in Bridgeport on August 5, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Fabio and Antoinette (Melli) Carnaroli.
A retired employee at Sikorsky Aircraft, Linda was artistic at heart and enjoyed painting and drawing in her spare time. She had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved horse, Misty, who led her and Bob on long sleigh rides in the wintertime. Linda was equally devoted to her Sheltie dogs, including her latest, Harley, whom she trained as a therapy dog and guided through agility courses. Above all else, Linda cherished her family and the time spent with her sister and nephews, whom she loved as her own. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth and, of course, making a lasagna that no one could match.
Survivors include her loving sister, Donna Tirone and her husband Greg of Trumbull; nephews, Michael Tirone and his wife Nikki of Trumbull, and Danny Tirone, as well as her two adored grand nieces, Reagan and Sutton, who she insisted call her Auntie Lynn.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 4pm until 7pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11am DIRECTLY in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Rd. Oxford, CT 06478. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. For more information or to leave an online condolence, please visit us at www.hullfh.com
