“Desmond’s Army Animal Law Advocates is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person (s) Responsible for the abandonment and condition of the tan pitbull found dragging a black leash in the area of Clinton and Rimmon in Seymour on the night of April 18, 2026![]()

Tonight at approximately 8:30pm Seymour PD got dispatched out for a dog dragging a black leash. The dog was on Clinton Road/ Rimmon Road in Seymour. WRAC responded and now has custody of the dog.
WRAC is seeking the public’s help in identifying the owner of this male bully, who was found on the Ansonia/Seymour town line.
This dog is in extremely poor condition and is severely emaciated. We are asking anyone with information about who may be responsible for him to please come forward.
