Frances Catherine Nicolari, age 88, a lifelong Derby resident, peacefully entered into eternal rest in her home on Wednesday April 15, 2026. She was born in New Haven on February 6, 1938 the daughter of the late Bernard J. and Catherine (Princevalli) Nicolari.
She worked as a Computer Operator in the Shelton Public School system for many years prior to her retirement. She was predeceased by her siblings Bernice Nicolari, Angela Nicolari, and Bernard S. Nicolari.
Frances will also be remembered for the many lasting friendships she cultivated throughout her life. She had a warm and welcoming nature that drew people to her, and she remained a loyal and caring friend to so many. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and companionship to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by the many friends who cherished her and held her close in their hearts.
Her cremation has been entrusted to the care of the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. Her burial was privately held at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Condolences can be offered at www.riverviewfh.com.
