Juan Vinicio Peralta Cardenas, age 56, of Ansonia entered into rest on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was the devoted husband of 33 years to Mirian Jeaneth Aguirre Benavides. Juan was born in Quito, Ecuador on December 3, 1969 son of the late Romulo Vinicio Peralta Cueva and Amalia Cecilia Cardenas Contreras.
Juan was the beloved father of Camila Peralta Aguirre and Nathaly Colon and her husband Israel, loving grandfather of Luz Carolina Colon and Israel Vinicio Colon and brother of Wendy Peralta Cardenas, Irene Peralta Cardenas and Lucia Peralta Cardenas.
On Thursday, April 30th, friends may greet the family from 4 – 7 PM at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby. On Friday, May 1st, friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St., Derby for his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. His entombment will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
