Ansonia police received 291 calls for service and made 11 arrests.

Monday, May 4, 2026

6:25 a.m. Police charged Devin Fox, 24, of Mastic, N.Y., with larceny of a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle. The charges were processed at the police station on Main Street.

9:31 a.m. An officer responded to a juvenile matter at the high school on Pulaski Highway.

2:14 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on North State Street.

7:15 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Beaver Street.

2:50 a.m. Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Judson Place.

8:46 a.m. Police alerted public works to a dead groundhog near Mary Street.

1:36 p.m. During a traffic stop on Olson Drive, an officer issued a citation to a driver for failure to grant right of way and driving under suspension.

5:02 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Division Street.

5:58 p.m. Police responded to a report of theft from a building on Byron Avenue.

2:17 p.m. Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Winter Street.

3:30 p.m. Police charged a 32-year-old Ansonia woman with two counts of risk of injury to a child. The charges were processed at the police station.

6:05 p.m. Police charged a 35-year-old New Haven man with two counts of risk of injury to a child. The charges were processed at the police station.

8:11 p.m. During a traffic stop on Beaver Street, an officer issued a citation to a driver for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving without a license, and failure to insure a motor vehicle.

Thursday, May 7, 2026

7:18 a.m. Police charged a 24-year-old Southington woman with illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. The charge was processed at the police station.

10:02 a.m. Police charged a 37-year-old Ansonia man with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct. The charges were processed at the police station.

11:21 a.m. Police charged Malik Johnson, 24, of Bridgeport, with failure to insure a private motor vehicle. The charge was handed out as part of an investigation into a March 8 crash near Pershing Drive and Division Street which injured four people.

11:34 a.m. Officers responded to a report of theft from a building on Woodbridge Avenue.

6:44 p.m. At the Target on West Main Street, police charged a 24-year-old Bridgeport man with criminal impersonation and sixth-degree larceny.

7:12 p.m. Police charged Krystyna Kuczynski, 45, with driving under the influence and unsafe passing on Main Street.

Friday, May 8, 2026

6:45 a.m. Police charged Amari Langston, 22, of Stratford, with first-degree assault, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, four counts of third-degree assault, three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving under the influence, evading responsibility, two counts of failure to obey traffic signals, passing on the right, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and driving without insurance. The charges were handed out as part of an investigation into a March 8 crash near Pershing Drive and Division Street which injured four people.

10:45 a.m. Police charged Nicole Borchert, 41, of Ansonia, with driving under the influence. The charge was processed at Superior Court in Derby.

1:50 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Jewett Street.

5:41 p.m. Police received an animal complaint near Forest Avenue and North Main Street.

10:20 p.m. Police received a report of illegal parking from Vine Street.

9:22 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Pershing Drive.

10:21 a.m. Police received a wildlife complaint from North Division Street.

1:21 p.m. Officers responded to a report of impersonation on Fifth Street.

6:24 p.m. Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Woodlawn Avenue.

1:28 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Main Street.

2:12 a.m. An alarm went off on Hershey Drive.

5:30 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Bridge Street.

5:43 p.m. Police responded to a minor car accident on North State Street.

6:26 p.m. Police charged two people, a 24-year-old Ansonia woman and 18-year-old Ansonia man, with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a child on Prospect Street. The 18-year-old was also charged with second-degree threatening.
