Adele M. (Ventre) Manzone, age 102, a lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered eternal rest on May 16, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul “Chick” Manzone.

Born at home in Ansonia on September 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Camisa) Ventre. Adele was a graduate of Ansonia High School. She was employed as a grocery clerk for Stop and Shop in Derby for thirty-seven years until her retirement in 1998. Adele had a passion for travel and loved exploring sites around the world. She was a devout communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia and a member of the Ansonia and Derby senior centers. Adele also spent her time volunteering at Griffin Hospital.

Adele leaves to cherish her memory, son, Paul C. Manzone (Adrienne) of Coventry, daughter, Dale Arseneault of Haddam, grandchildren, Cliff Manzone (Angela), Julianne St. George (Jeffrey), Peter Arseneault (Sarah) and Leah DelGuercio (Edmund), great-grandchildren, Nora Manzone, Macallister Manzone, Austin St. George, Garrett St. George, Brady Arseneault, Brooke Arseneault and Edmund Jacob DelGuercio along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Fred, William and Ernest Ventre, sisters, Mary Reggiani and Evelyn Ventre and son-in-law, Peter Arseneault.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 9:00-10:30 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:45 am, her funeral will proceed to Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Entombment will immediately follow in Mount Saint Peter Mausoleum in Derby.
