Angela Catherine Vuolo, age 86, beloved husband of Michael J. Vuolo of Shelton, died peacefully on June 1, 2026 at Griffin Hospital with her family her side. 

Born in Bronx, NY on August 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Esposito Siciliano.  Mrs. Vuolo was raised and educated in the Bronx before moving to Westchester, NY. 

Together with her spouse, they owned & operated the Westchester Lock and Door Company for decades, until the time of their retirement in 2000 and relocated to Shelton, CT in 2006. 

She maintained a lifelong passion for the performing arts and spent countless hours enjoying live theater, musical performances and cultural productions.  Mrs. Vuolo created her own theater production company and produced many off-Broadway shows.  

In addition to her spouse of 63 years, Mrs. Vuolo is survived by her devoted son, Michael J. Vuolo, Jr. and his companion, Alexis Monsayac of Derby; cherished granddaughter, Alessandra Brewer of Rye, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by a daughter, Gina Brewer and sisters, Kathleen Moreland and Patricia Bredehorst.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the mausoleum of St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien, CT.
