SEYMOUR — The Friends of Seymour Public Library are having a book sale Saturday June 13, 2026. Help celebrate America’s 250 birthday and Flag Day – wear something Patriotic or Red, White and Blue and get a book of your choice for free.
Hours are 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM for Members Only and 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM for the General Public
Not a member yet? You’re welcome to join at the door during the members-only hours and start shopping right away. Membership rates are – $10 for an individual, $25 for a family and $5 for students & seniors (65+).
We have Children’s books starting at just $0.10 each; a full Young Adult section (fiction & and nonfiction); Adult fiction, including romance, mystery, & science fiction; history, autobiography, cookbooks, religion, sports, classics, poetry, and more, along with jigsaw puzzles. Teachers receive a 10% discount on book purchases.
Donations for the Friends can be dropped off at the library anytime during regular library hours. Due to space and fire regulations, we no longer permit scanner use at the book sale. All money raised is used for the library.
Just a head’s up – Our book sale in September will reflect a price increase, so stock up now.
