DERBY — Police are asking the public to help them identify two people who vandalized the municipal parking garage on Thompson Place.
“The suspects were observed entering the parking garage on a dark-colored moped with distinctive orange or red headlight accents. The individuals subsequently spray painted areas within the garage before leaving,” according to a Derby PD Facebook post.
The post did not have the time or date of the crime.
The photos posted on social media, however, were crystal clear, thanks to the installation of surveillance cameras in the garage under former Mayor Rich Dziekan in 2023.
