SEYMOUR – Here are some highlights from the Seymour Police Department’s calls for service from June 15, 2026 through June 21, 2026.

Seymour police received 200 calls for service and made eight arrests.

JUNE 15, 2026

1:35 p.m. — A caller told police her car was rear-ended in the drive-through line of McDonald’s on Bank Street.

5:35 p.m. — Police were called to Reservoir Manor Apartments for a medical emergency.

6:30 p.m. — Police charged a 30-year-old Seymour man with disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.

7:30 p.m. — Police charged a 37-year-old Seymour woman with second-degree threatening.

10:10 p.m. — A Bungay Road resident told police his son threatened to kill him.

JUNE 16, 2026

8:56 a.m. — A caller told police she witnessed a girl dressed all in black being followed by a white car on New Haven Road (Route 67). The caller told police the girl yelled at the driver to leave her alone and she proceeded to hide in the bathroom of the Dunkin Donuts. An officer said he contacted both parties and there were no further issues.

2 p.m. — Police charged a 41-year-old Seymour man with second-degree breach of peace.

3:39 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Maple Street.

5:08 p.m. — Multiple callers told police a drunk man was sitting in the road near Main and Broad streets.

8:48 p.m. — Police conducted radar enforcement on Spring Street.

JUNE 17, 2026

8:46 a.m. — Police conducted stop sign enforcement on Cedar Street.

8:54 a.m. — A Cedar Street resident told police she was being harassed on social media.

5:40 p.m. — Police charged a 43-year-old Shelton woman with violation of probation.

9:28 p.m. — Police received multiple calls about gunshots or fireworks heard in the Heritage Drive area. An officer checked the area and didn’t hear any noise.

JUNE 18, 2026

9 a.m. — Police charged a 41-year-old Seymour man with second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening.

9:22 a.m. — Police conducted radar enforcement on Brookfield Road.

3:25 p.m. — A resident told police her son was being harassed.

5:56 p.m. — A caller told police a black Subaru Outback was driving erratically near Maple Street and Old Ansonia Road.

6:54 p.m. — A South Main Street resident reported a case of fraud to police.

JUNE 19, 2026

1:05 a.m. — A North Street resident told police a flatbed truck was making a lot of noise in the neighborhood and waking people up. An officer checked the area and said it was quiet.

10:04 a.m. — Police conducted speed enforcement on Botsford Road.

12:45 p.m. — A Roosevelt Drive resident told police her boyfriend trashed her things.

1:10 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on New Haven Road (Route 67).

1:30 p.m. — An Elm Street resident told police his tires were stolen from his front lawn.

JUNE 20, 2026

5:58 a.m. — Several callers from Maple and Skokorat streets told police their water was brown. Police said Aquarion Water was notified.

9:38 a.m. — A Lakeview Avenue resident told police a female wearing maroon sweatpants was laying on the side of the road. An officer checked on the woman who said she was just resting in the shade.

10:17 a.m. — A Kathy Drive resident told police her son stole jewelry from his grandmother while house-sitting.

4:21 p.m. — Police conducted speed enforcement on Great Hill Road.

9:15 p.m. — A caller told police someone was shooting fireworks on Skokorat Street.

9:45 p.m. Police charged Christopher Jachimowski, 45, of Seymour, with illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane. He was arrested near the intersection of New Haven Road (Route 67) and Skokorat Street.

JUNE 21, 2026

8:54 a.m.– A caller told police her car was stolen sometime overnight from her boyfriend’s residence on Woodcrest Road.

12:16 p.m. — A South Main Street resident told police her vehicle was rummaged through and a wallet was stolen out of it.

4:11 p.m. — Police were called to a residence on Walnut Street for a medical emergency.

8:18 p.m. — Police conducted stop sign enforcement on Mountain Road.

10:50 p.m. — Police charged a 34-year-old Waterbury man with second-degree breach of peace.
