Patrick C. Henry, age 69, entered eternal rest on June 30, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby, with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband of Donna (Bailey) Henry.
Patrick was born in Sharon, CT on June 9, 1957, son of the late Francis D. and Edith (Loucks) Henry. He was a lifelong resident of Ansonia and a graduate of Ansonia High School class of 1975. Patrick was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft in the Blades Department. He was a true family man and a steady anchor for his family. His greatest accomplishment was being called “Poppy.” He loved playing games, coloring and spending time with his precious grandchildren. Some of his hobbies included playing cards and pool, horseshoes and watching old western movies. Patrick also enjoyed music and dancing. He was a member of the Lemko Club in Ansonia and an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
Patrick leaves to cherish his memory, son, Patrick W. Henry (Nicole) of Southbury, daughter, Brittany L. Henry (Eric Laue) of Stratford, brothers, Russell Henry of Ansonia, Edward Henry (Ursula) of Beacon Falls and William Henry of Seymour, grandchildren, Aulbree, Olivia, Evelyn and Gemma, sisters-in-law, Lori Henry of Oxford and Cheri Henry of Seymour, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Francis J. Henry, Bruce Henry and Kevin Henry, sister, Sharon Henry and sister-in-law, Janet Henry.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Griffin Hospital ICU, especially Dr. Roman Spivek, for their compassionate care and kindness.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Tuesday morning all are invited to attend his funeral by meeting directly at 10:30 am at the Great Hill United Methodist Church, 225 Great Hill Road in Seymour. Burial will be private.
