ANSONIA – State Rep. Kara Rochelle and State Comptroller Sean Scanlon will host an informational session on the ArrayRX Discount Card on July 16th, at Noon, at the Ansonia Senior Center (65 Main Street, Ansonia, CT).
Rep. Rochelle and Comptroller Scanlon will discuss the benefits of the ArrayRX prescription drug discount card program and how residents are able to sign up.
The ArrayRX Discount Card offers significant savings on commonly prescribed drugs. This program is designed to provide residents, especially those without insurance or with high out-of-pocket deductibles, with access to affordable prescriptions. The card is free to every Connecticut resident, with no restrictions on age or income. Users can expect to save up to 80 percent on a generic drug and 20 percent on brand-name prescriptions.
“ArrayRx is a great tool to bring down the high cost of prescription drugs,” Rep. Rochelle said in a prepared statement. “For anyone on high-deductible health plans, the uninsured, and Medicare recipients who use prescriptions not covered, it will make a huge difference.”
The ArrayRX program is part of Public Act 23-171, which Rep. Rochelle supported.
The event is free and open to the public. All community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the program.
