Alison Marie Kucinskas, 69, passed away on July 2, 2026, in Shelton, Connecticut. Born in Jamaica, New York, on November 23, 1956, Alison will be remembered for her unwavering work ethic, loyal heart, and ability to bring laughter to any room.

Alison approached every task with determination, integrity, and a willingness to go above and beyond. She took great pride in her work at Xerox and the Recovery Network of Programs, where her dedication and compassion left a lasting impression on those around her.

After recently retiring, Alison embraced this new chapter and enjoyed traveling, learning to play golf, and spending time with the people she loved most.

Above all, Alison was a devoted and loving mother. Her greatest joy was her daughter, Lauren, and she was a constant source of strength, encouragement, and unconditional love throughout her life.

Whether helping family, friends, or colleagues, Alison never hesitated to lend a hand or put others before herself. Her kindness, generosity, and dependability earned the admiration and respect of everyone who knew her.

Alison is survived by her daughter, Lauren Kucinskas of Boston, Massachusetts; her partner, Brian DiVito of Naugatuck, Connecticut; her brother, Richard J. Ranzinger of Meriden, Connecticut; and her nephews, Eric and Matthew Ranzinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard F. Ranzinger and Helen Riedl Ranzinger.

Alison will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
