ANSONIA — The Ansonia Lions Club will host its annual backpack giveaway at the Ansonia Armory (5 State St.) at 11 a.m. Aug. 15.
Free eye screenings will also be available at the event.

In collaboration with the City of Ansonia the Lions Club will be sponsoring a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway at the Ansonia Armory.
Kids can grab a backpack, enjoy snacks and pizza, and even get a free eye screening.
