Beverly Irene (Mudry) Bush, age 86, of Beacon Falls, peacefully entered into rest on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in her home. She was the devoted wife of the late James Bush, Sr.. Beverly was born in Derby on February 29, 1940, daughter of the late John and Viola (Philbrick) Mudry, and she lived in Beacon Falls for most of her life.
She worked for Emhart Teknologies until her retirement. Beverly was an animal lover, and she especially loved her cats. She had a deep appreciation for the majesty of the Owl. Beverly also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and she loved family trips she took exploring Vermont and New Hampshire.
She is the beloved mother of James Bush, Jr., Steven Bush, Cheri Nagel (Mark), Stanley Bush, and John Bush, grandmother to Justin, Ashley, Mark, Alexander, Grace, Elizabeth, and Andrew, and great-grandmother of Abiathar and Cahlen. Beverly is also survived by a sister, Cora, and a nephew, Donny. She was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara and Lois, as well as her second husband, Jerry.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
