SEYMOUR — The Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame will welcome eight new inductees at its annual banquet on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Oak Lane Country Club in Woodbridge.
The 2026 Hall of Fame class includes:
* John Mastrobattisto (Class of 1960) – Football, Basketball, Baseball
* John Krot (Class of 1965) – Football, Basketball, Baseball
* Stephen Cochran (Class of 1967) – Football, Baseball, Basketball
* Jim Slie (Class of 1971) – Football, Basketball, Baseball
* Paul Haynes (Class of 1976) – Football
* Ryan Osiecki (Class of 2007) – Football
* John Murphy (Class of 1969) – Baseball, Basketball
* Katy Petroski (Class of 2015) – Softball, Indoor Track
The late Denis DeBarber will receive the Outstanding Contribution Award for his service as a volunteer coach and assistant coach. The 1969 Seymour High School Football Team will also be honored for its outstanding achievements.
In addition, Joe Carrafiello and Kenzie Sirowich will be recognized for their induction into the New Haven County Basketball Hall of Fame as players, while Eric DeMarco will be recognized for his induction as a coach.
Tickets are $65 per person and include appetizers, buffet dinner, and dessert. They are available at Seymour High School, Seymour Town Hall, or from Paul Roy at prov03@snet.net or 203-305-6731. The ticket deadline is October 10, 2026. A cash bar and raffles will be available.
