Monday, Aug. 3, 2026
7:19 a.m. Police received a report of vandalism from North State Street.
9:27 a.m. A caller on Menna Road reported being harassed through the phone or computer.
11:51 a.m. Police were alerted to hazardous road conditions near Division Street and Main Street.
4:18 p.m. Police received a report of a stolen license plate from Hull Street.
10:17 p.m. During a traffic stop on Pershing Drive, a driver received a citation for failure to have headlamps, driving without registration or insurance, and improper use of a license/license plate/registration.

7:34 p.m. Police were called to Pershing Drive for a report of shoplifting.
11:19 a.m. Police carried out three search warrants at undisclosed locations.
12:17 p.m. During a traffic stop near Elm Street and Platt Street, a driver was handed a written warning.
2:36 p.m. Police charged a 61-year-old Bridgeport man with fifth-degree larceny on West Main Street.
3:17 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
11:27 p.m. Mercy Saez, 45, of Shelton, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under suspension, driving without minimum insurance, and improper use of a license/license plate/registration during a traffic stop on Maple Street.

8:50 p.m. Police responded to a juvenile matter on South Cliff Street.

2:01 p.m. Police responded to a report of vandalism on Woodlawn Avenue.
4:13 p.m. Police charged a 41-year-old Bridgeport man with disorderly conduct. The charge was processed at the police station.
5:34 p.m. Police charged a 32-year-old Derby man with two counts of evading responsibility in an accident and one count of passing in a no-passing zone.
6:33 p.m. Police charged Tayler Cox-Butler, 35, of Ansonia, with two counts of assaulting a public safety official, one count each of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, and three counts of risk of injury to a child on George Street.
10:36 p.m. Police charged a 61-year-old Ansonia man with failure to appear in court and failure to respond to an infraction. The charges were processed at the police station.

3:29 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Pulaski Highway.
10:31 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Elizabeth Street.
1:25 p.m. Officers were called to North Main Street for a reported assault.
1:33 p.m. Police charged two New Haven women with sixth-degree larceny on West Main Street.
5:50 p.m. Police charged Brian Lopez, 33, of Shelton, with driving under the influence. The charge was processed at the police station.
6:23 p.m. Police charged a 45-year-old woman with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Page Street.

10:20 a.m. Police charged a 25-year-old West Haven man with reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, driving the wrong way on a one-way, failure to obey traffic control signals, and improper use of a license/license plate/registration. The charges were processed at the police station.

5:36 p.m. During a traffic stop, police charged a 26-year-old woman with failure to obey a stop sign and driving under suspension on Fourth Street.

3 a.m. Police charged a 29-year-old New Haven woman with second-degree breach of peace and resisting arrest on East Main Street.
8:20 a.m. Officers responded to a report involving an emotionally distressed person on West Main Street.
4:27 p.m. Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Cedar Street.
7:07 p.m. Police charged Charles Murphy, 44, of Ansonia, with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance on Wakelee Avenue.
