Carol Ann (Federico) DiCaro, age 87, formerly of Shelton, Connecticut, entered into rest on August 6, 2026 at the Laurel Ridge Health Care Center of Ridgefield. Born in Derby on December 16, 1938 the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Mauri) Federico, she was the loving wife of the late Frank DiCaro.
A resident of Shelton most of her life, Carol was known as an avid thrifter as she enjoyed spending her time browsing and selling at consignment stores, tag sales, and flea markets. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino.
Carol was a loving mother and grandmother, leaving behind her children Frank DiCaro (Maria) and Kim Blount (Bill), as well as her grandchildren Bethany Roehrbein (Tristan), Brandon DiCaro, and Ashley DiCaro as well as her great-grandson Rhett Roehrbein. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Accousti.
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026 friends may greet her family from 10 am to 11 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton, followed by her funeral service at 11 am in the funeral home. Her burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.riverviewfh.com.
