SHELTON — Due to the Labor Day holiday, there will be no trash or recycling collected on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026.
Monday’s collection will be 1 day late.
For the rest of the week, residents are advised to put out their trash and recycling on their normal scheduled day.
If it is not picked up on that day, it will be on the following day.
The transfer station and the city yard will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026 for the holiday. They will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.
