1:07 p.m. Police attempted to stop a vehicle on Main Street.
4:53 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an emotionally distressed person on Cedar Street.
6:14 p.m. Officers were sent to a motor vehicle accident on Division Street.
7:15 p.m. Police responded to a call reporting disorderly conduct on High Acres Road.
8:20 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Beaver and Central streets.
Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026
10:02 a.m. Police carried out search warrants at undisclosed locations.
2:21 p.m. Police responded to a report of objects being thrown at a vehicle. The entry does not note the location.
11:30 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident where a vehicle left the scene on Wakelee Avenue.
5:31 p.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Beaver Street.
5:31 p.m. Police were sent to Wakelee Avenue for a civil matter.

9:36 a.m. An officer was called for a medical assist on West Brookside Avenue.

2:03 p.m. Police were informed that a stolen vehicle had been recovered.
3:12 p.m. Police responded to a report of a stolen license plate on Mott Street.
8:01 p.m. A 26-year-old Derby woman was charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to display plates, and driving under suspension on Fourth Street.
9 p.m. Police charged a 61-year-old Ansonia woman with violating the terms of her probation.

6:15 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Franklin Street and Westwood Road.
8:57 a.m. Police received a wildlife complaint from Central Street.
11:16 a.m. Police charged two Ansonia women, ages 39 and 43, with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Howard Avenue.
12:06 p.m. Police charged a 43-year-old Ansonia man with three counts of failure to appear in court. The charges were processed at the police station.
3:40 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Westfield Avenue.

2:30 p.m. Police charged a 40-year-old Bridgeport woman with first-degree trespassing on Sixth Street.
3:04 p.m. Police received a report of suspicious activity on Park Place.
