As part of the Safe Kids program, the Derby Elks are donating booster seats and working at a Booster Seat Giveaway in conjunction with Griffin Health.

The Derby Elks have donated the funds for 30 booster seats that will be given to the first 30 families who register and qualify.

We are having the event at the Griffin Health parking lot on 4 Mountain St. in Derby on Sept. 15, 2026 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

People are required to register with Cathleen Kellett, the Safe Kids Coordinator at Griffin Hospital, at ckellett@griffinhealth.org.
