Leon Leung, age 76, of Shelton, peacefully entered into rest in his home on Friday, September 4, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 45 years to the late Patricia Chin Leung. Leon was born in Derby on November 18, 1949, son of the late Wing Dep Leung and Jean You Chin, and moved to Shelton with his wife in 1979.
Leon was a graduate of Bryant College and earned his Masters. He had a long and successful career as an accountant in the finance industry until his retirement. Leon loved to travel and explore with his wife. He also enjoyed shooting pool at the Shelton Senior Center. Leon was an active member of Gateway Christian Fellowship in West Haven.
He is the beloved father of Jonathan Leung and Jasmine Leung and her partner, Rob Parfitt. He is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn Lilly, Helen Lee, and Corinna Leung, and several nieces and nephews.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Friends are invited to join the family at a graveside service at Huntington Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11 AM.
