Ansonia To Hold Hispanic Heritage Month Flag Raising Oct. 1

ANSONIA — Ansonia is scheduled to host a flag raising for Hispanic Heritage Month on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 12 p.m. outside city hall (253 Main St).

The city announced the flag raising via a social media post Sept. 25. The following is from the post:

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Join us in our FIRST ever Flag Raising Ceremony celebrating the countless contributions that Hispanic & Latino Americans have made both to the City of Ansonia, as well as to our nation throughout history.
