Monday, Sept. 21, 2026
3:22 a.m. Police charged a 34-year-old Ansonia man with disorderly conduct and violating the conditions of his release on Hillside Avenue.
3:19 p.m. Police were dispatched for a juvenile matter on Howard Avenue.
3:36 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on Jackson Street.
6:53 p.m. A caller on Jewett Street reported being harassed.
8:29 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on Tremont Street.

5:44 a.m. Police were called to respond to a motor vehicle accident near Clifton Avenue and Division Street.
12:13 p.m. Police responded to a report of theft from a building on Rutland Street.
7:41 p.m. Police charged a 35-year-old Ansonia man with failure to appear in court on West Main Street.
7:49 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a motor vehicle near Father Salemi Drive and Main Street.
8:28 p.m. Police responded to a report of an emotionally distressed person on Cottage Avenue.

5:55 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Pershing Drive.
10:30 a.m. Police charged a 41-year-old Milford man with fifth-degree larceny. The arrest location was listed as Superior Court in Derby.
12:25 p.m. Police received a report of shoplifting from a location on Main Street.
6:38 p.m. Police charged a 40-year-old New Haven man with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, violating a protective order, and risk of injury to a child on Main Street.
10:05 p.m. Police charged a 19-year-old Ansonia man with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace on Hodge Avenue.

1:31 a.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop near Clifton Avenue and Father Lar Drive.
8 a.m. Police charged an 86-year-old Ansonia man with third-degree assault. The charge was processed at the police station on Main Street.
10:13 a.m. Officers responded to a report of vandalism on Holbrook Place.
3:23 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident near Myrtle Avenue and Orchard Street.
6:25 p.m. Police charged a 24-year-old Ansonia man with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree threatening, and disorderly conduct on Clifton Avenue.

6:16 p.m. An officer conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street.
6:43 p.m. Police responded as part of a reported medical emergency on Clarkson Street.
8:49 p.m. A caller on North Main Street dialed 911 but hung up.

2:59 a.m. Police charged Tanja Freeman-Thomas, 40, of Ansonia, with driving under the influence, criminal impersonation, failure to drive in the proper lane, making improper turns, driving under suspension and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest on Father Salemi Drive.
4:57 a.m. Police charged a 24-year-old Milford man with illegal discharge of a firearm, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and two counts of first-degree reckless endangerment on West Main Street.
9:55 a.m. Police received a report of hazardous road conditions near Alcott and Rufus streets.
10:20 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street.
3:42 p.m. Police charged a 70-year-old Ansonia man with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Beaver Street.
6:59 p.m. A caller reported a tree in the road on Beaver Street.
7:51 p.m. A resident on Benz Street reported that wires were hanging down in front of his house.

7:45 a.m. Police charged a 41-year-old Ansonia man with second-degree threatening, interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct. The charges were processed at the police station on Main Street.
7 p.m. A caller left a noise complaint on North Main Street.
7:03 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident near Division and Main streets.
9:14 p.m. An officer was dispatched to Holbrook Street after a report of a juvenile checking nearby door handles.
