Gerald A. Childs, 70, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 27.
He is the husband of Cheryl (Sanford) Childs. Born in Derby on Jan,14,1956, son of the late Gordon E. and Dorris (Torrey) Childs, a retired customer service rep. for A.T.T.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter Kelly, a son, Aaron (Steph Halverson) Childs, brothers Jeff (Liz) Childs, Geoff Childs, Stephen Childs and Richard Childs. Also seven nephews and four nieces. Predeceased by brother Gordon Childs III.
Services will be held in future at the Bennett Funeral Home.
