Kathryn “Kathy” Happy, age 70, a lifelong Seymour resident entered into peaceful rest on September 27th 2026 with her girls by her side. Kathy was born on July 24, 1956 in Derby, daughter of the late William and Cecelia (Hager) Happy. Kathy worked as the Office Manager at a car dealership for many years.
The most important thing in Kathy’s life was the love she had for her family especially her daughters, Becky Donato and her husband Steve of Blacksburg, S.C., and Britney Aiksnoras and her husband Dave of Oxford; her brother William Happy of Seymour; grandsons, Tucker and Jax Donato of Blacksburg; grandpup, Mocha of Oxford; she also leaves several nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Klezovich.
Kathy loved hard but nothing mattered more than her grandsons. She always looked forward to their dirtbike races. Their races brought her all over the place, tracks throughout New England and down south too, Thanksgivings in Florida, and most recently a trip to Tennessee to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. She was definitely one proud Moma to say the least!
