Danielle Marie (Rodriguez) Valenti, age 44, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on October 4, 2026, at her home. She was the loving wife and high school sweetheart of Philip S. Valenti.
Born in Derby on November 6, 1981, she was the beloved daughter of RoseMarie (Payne) Rodriguez of Derby and the late Daniel Rodriguez III. Danielle grew up in Derby and was a graduate of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, class of 1999. She was employed as a kitchen design manager for Builders FirstSource in Oxford for twelve years.
Designing kitchens was something she was truly passionate about and she was exceptionally talented at it. For 24 years, she poured her creativity, knowledge and heart into creating beautiful functional spaces for her clients.
Family was the center of Danielle’s world. She dedicated her life to loving, supporting and guiding them, treasuring every single moment spent together. There was never a holiday Danielle didn’t celebrate to the fullest. Her home was always beautifully decorated for the seasons and holidays reflecting her vibrant spirit.
Danielle loved taking spontaneous day and road trips with her family, sharing a fun adventure and visiting various theme parks and thrill-seeking rides with her boys. She was the recording secretary for the Naugatuck High School marching band.
Danielle also played in softball and volleyball leagues in Shelton. Her favorite hobbies included Legos, gardening and landscaping her yard with her family. She will be lovingly missed by all.
In addition to her husband Philip and mother RoseMarie, Danielle leaves to cherish her memory, twin sons, Tyler S. Valenti and Ryan J. Valenti both of Naugatuck, sister Jessica Marulli (Matthew) of Fredericksburg, VA, brother, Brandon Rodriguez (Jennie) of Ansonia, sister-in-law, Jennifer Goodall (Justin) of Naugatuck and her rescue dog Bean along with eleven nieces and nephews (all of which she shared very special bonds with) as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 3:00-6:30 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
