David Sorman Jr., a 99-year-old Watertown resident and husband of 58 years to Marylee Wilson Sorman, passed away at home Oct. 14th. He worked as a toolmaker & machinist for 58 years. David was a longstanding member of the Masons and World War II Army veteran.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his: stepson Neal Miller of Middlebury; stepdaughter Diane Smith of Cheshire; daughter Karen Tunick of Southbury; stepdaughter Linda Miller of North Carolina; & daughter Corrine Dodd of Morris; sister Lois Anderson of Seymour, and 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Sorman; and daughter Deborah Sorman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday Oct. 19th at 11:00 a.m. from Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call on Monday, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association.
