Ellen-Ann (Greywacz) Moran, age 67 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Daniel “Dan” Moran, entered into peaceful rest on October 14, 2026 at Griffin Hospital. Ellen-Ann was born November 22, 1958 in Derby, daughter of the late Ernest, Jr. and Helen (Osowiecki) Greywacz.

Family was the heart of Ellen-Ann’s life and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved. She cherished memories made during family summers on Cape Cod and winter ski trips to Vermont. A devoted and loving mother, Ellen-Ann was always her sons’ biggest supporter, never missing a sporting event and cheering them on every step of the way. Fondly known as “Grammy,” Ellen-Ann found immense joy in being a grandmother and treasured every moment spent with her six grandchildren, who each held a special place in her heart. Whether attending dance competitions, cheering them on at hockey games, or celebrating their many milestones, she rarely missed a moment to share in her grandchildren’s joy and accomplishments.

Ellen-Ann’s warmth and devotion extended beyond her family to her church community. For many years, she was the welcoming face and friendly voice of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Trumbull, where she managed the parish office. Through her work, she formed lasting friendships within the parish and throughout the Trumbull community.

Survivors include her loving sons, Ryan Moran and his wife Elizabeth of Sandy Hook, Christopher Moran and his wife Patti of Oxford, and Kyle Moran and his wife Tash of Prospect; sisters, Lynn Brown and her husband Ron of Seymour, Lorraine McInerney and her husband Tim of Oxford, Martha Mehaylo and her husband Eddy of Seymour, and Josephine Fenton and her husband Shannon of Seymour; her six cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Connor, Cecilia, Dean, Caden and Declan; sister-in-law, Janet Greywacz of Norwalk; her grandpups, the late Kevin, Bailey, Roy, Brady, and Tod, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and father, Ellen-Ann was predeceased by her brother, Ernest Greywacz, III.
