Florence Kerigan, age 93, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Florence was born in Bridgeport on March 15, 1933, daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Durica) Tetu. She lived most of her life in Monroe.
Florence worked in the office for Vitramon Electronics Manufacturing before her retirement. She loved to travel, especially to Hawaii. Florence was an experienced floral designer and enjoyed arranging flowers. She graduated from the New York School of Floral Design in New York City. She loved spending time with her cherished family.
She is the beloved mother of Kathleen Kerigan, Carol Gulyas (Peter), and Nancy Pulieri (Joseph), and adored 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, William Kerigan.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
