Helena Gladczuk, age 75, of Ledyard, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Complete Care at Harrington Court in Colchester. She is the devoted wife of 58 years to Kazimierz Gladczuk. Helena was born in Stock, Poland on March 1, 1951, daughter of the late Czaslawa and Stanislawa (Sepoko) Granacki and came to the US in 1983. She lived for many years in Milford before moving to Ledyard 5 years ago.
Helena worked as a chef in Poland before taking a machine operator position with Inline Plastic in Shelton after she arrived. Her loving care for her cherished family was always her most important priority.
She is the beloved mother of Miroslaw Gladczuk (Catalina) and Mariusz Gladczuk, and the proud grandmother of Addison, Charlotte, and Marius. She is also survived by her sister, Krystyna Maciulewski (George), and two nephews.
Friends may greet the family at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby, on Saturday from 8 to 9:15 AM. Her procession will leave the parlor for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Church in Derby. Burial will immediately follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
