Robin Marie Tomlinson, age 64, of Seymour, CT passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3rd after a brief battle with lung disease. She was born in Derby, CT and graduated from Shelton High School in 1978.
She owned her own business, Readings with Robin, and was devoted to her work as a psychic medium and reiki master. Robin genuinely loved helping people and she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and kindness. She will be remembered for the comfort she brought to others, whether it was through her wise advice, deep spirituality, or incredible pierogi recipe. Above all, Robin’s greatest joy in life was her children. She cherished the simple moments with them: watching TV, playing Scrabble, and taking a cozy afternoon nap while dinner was in the oven.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Tomlinson (age 34), her son, Peter Tomlinson (age 30), her mother Jean Wakeman, sister Jill Douglas and her husband Chris Douglas, and sister-in-laws Carla Wakeman and Christine Colby. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews: Matteo Wakeman, Valentina Wakeman, Casey Sweeney, Nicholas Douglas, Scott Wakeman, Melissa Cossuto, and Gary Wakeman.
Out of respect for Robin’s wishes, there will be no services. The Ralph E Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
