MONROE — Police are investigating the death of man in the Housatonic River Monday afternoon (July 21).
“At 3:18 p.m., Monroe police officers responded to a call about someone in distress in the water below the dam. A short time later, a diving camera confirmed a body underneath the water at the base of the dam.”
The man’s identity was being withheld as of Tuesday morning.
