DERBY–SHELTON — Jay Carlucci, the community-minded owner of The Dew Drop Inn, is this year’s honorary starter of the 2025 Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K, scheduled to start 8 a.m. Nov. 27.

The race, which covers downtown Derby and Shelton, raises money for programs at The Boys & Girls Club of the Naugatuck Lower Valley.

Jay’s support for our community has been extraordinary — from being a steadfast supporter of our Club year after year to providing hundreds of Thanksgiving meals for our Club families. His generosity and heart truly embody the spirit of this race.
