Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5k Road Race–Traffic Advisory
The annual race kicks off at 8:00 AM in downtown Shelton, winds through Derby, and loops back to Shelton. This race is presented by Greco & Haines—proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
Several roads will be temporarily closed to ensure a safe event for runners, volunteers, and spectators. Road closures will occur between approximately 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM in the following areas: Main St., Elizabeth St. and surrounding side streets along the race route. Vehicles parked along Elizabeth St must be moved by 7:00 AM.
Drivers should expect delays, follow posted detours, and use alternate routes when possible. Officers and volunteers will be positioned throughout the area to assist with traffic flow.
