Mary E. (Maloney) Mahan, age 84 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Robert C. Mahan, Sr., entered peaceful rest in Farmington on Sunday, January 25, 2026 with family by her side. She was born in Derby on August 13, 1941.
A former employee at Life Touch Photography, Mary was a fun loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her husband Rob, traveling to various places on their motorcycle. Mary also enjoyed playing bingo and music, especially Elvis, and loved when the entertainers/impersonators would visit the senior housing community, especially Gene. Above all else, Mary adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she would affectionately call “The Little’s”.
Mary is survived by her loving children, Robert Mahan, Jr. and his wife Samantha of GA, Charlene Stowe and her husband Earl of Farmington, Michele Bibber and her husband Bill of Derby, and Anne Glatt and her husband Stuart of Wallingford; 8 cherished grandchildren, Derek DellaMonica (Taren), Dane DellaMonica (Kristen), Amanda Carlo (Jim), Jackie Stowe, Robert Mahan III, Brendan Mahan (Emily), Nicholas Mahan (Lexy) and Owen Glatt, as well as her 5 adored great grandchildren, Delaney DellaMonica, Jaxsen Carlo, Donovan DellaMonica, Tomei DellaMonica and Lincoln Mahan. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her mother, Goldie (Beam) Maloney.
