ANSONIA-DERBY — A multi-vehicle crash is under investigation, Ansonia police said in a social media post Sunday.
Police, fire and EMS were sent to the intersection of Division Street and Pershing Drive on the Ansonia-Derby border at about 4:43 p.m. March 8 after a 911 call reporting a crash and car fire.
About five ambulances were asked to respond because of the number of potential victims.
The road was closed until about 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
Ansonia police said more information will be released.
