ANSONIA – Firefighters handed one patient over to EMS after a rollover crash on South Cliff Street Monday morning (April 13).
Firefighters received a call around 10:03 a.m. reporting a rollover accident with a trapped driver. Responding crews found a flipped-over car with the driver still inside.
Firefighters used strut devices to stabilize the car before removing the driver, according to an Ansonia Fire Department Facebook post. The driver was then handed over to responding medical personnel.
Assistant Chief Matthew Pitney led the response, according to the post.
The driver’s name was not released, nor was there word on any injuries.
