ANSONIA — City officials shared the following press release with details about summer program options for children and adults:
Mayor Frank Tyszka is proud to announce the following free children programs for Ansonia residents this Summer:
● Baseball Camp from August 17th to August 19th
● Softball Camp from August 10th to August 12th
● Basketball Camp from July 13th to August 3rd
● Painting Camp from July 7th to July 15th
Additionally the Senior Center will be having more programs which include the arts, cooking, and even chess lessons. To sign up for any of these events please coordinate with Barbara Duncan (BDuncan@ansoniact.org) and Jeff Coppola (JCoppola@ansoniact.org).
As always, the Ansonia Library and the Ansonia Nature Center are tirelessly working on youth programming as well. Please see the following events:

○ Once Upon a Lawn: Monday, July 13th and July 27th at 9:30am for ages 0-5 and
siblings!
○ 1st Annual Splash Bash on Friday July 17th at 1:00 PM (ages 5-10)
● Ansonia Nature Center
○ Collecting the Rainbow of Nature, July 25th at 10:00 AM
○ Firefly Hike, July 18th at 8:00pm
○ Pigeons through the Ages, July 18th at 10:00am (ages 7 and up)
