SHELTON – Police said a man last seen Aug. 14 has been found dead.
The body of Christopher Taylor, 73, of Shelton, was found on Aug. 24, according to a statement issued Aug. 25 from Detective Sgt. Colin Bitsco.
“The circumstances surrounding Mr. Taylor’s death remain under active
investigation,” according to the statement.
Police said the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating, along with Shelton police. A cause of death, and the manner of death, was not included in the statement.
Police did not say where Taylor’s body was found.
Taylor was last seen in the area of Booth Hill Road and Clinton Drive in the early morning hours of Friday, Aug. 14, according to a Silver Alert flyer.
