Vincenza “Vee” Cossette, nee Pallone
Vincenza “Vivian”, lovingly known by her many endearing nicknames such as Vee, Viv, Vivvy, Vivi, and Queen Vee, peacefully passed away on September 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 10, 1946, in New Rochelle, New York.
Vee was the beloved daughter of Thomas and Mary Pallone, who predeceased her. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Stacey Cossette, and her son-in-law, Erik Hejnosz. She leaves behind her dear brother, Thomas J. Pallone, and his wife, Nance Jo, as well as her sister-in-law, Patricia “Tish” Pallone. Her legacy of love and compassion continues through her nephews, Thomas, Robert, and Michael Pallone, her niece, Lisa Pallone-Neal, and her great-nieces and nephews, Zach, Mia, Stella, Mackenzie, Amber, Sage, and Dylan.
Vee’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She grew up in New Rochelle NY, Milford and Ansonia, CT, where she graduated from Ansonia High School in 1964 and then went on to obtain her cosmetology license.
Vee began her professional career as a devoted dental assistant, where her meticulous care and warm demeanor left a lasting impression on all who met her. Later, she transitioned into the customer service field, where her dedication to helping others was evident in every interaction. Her colleagues and clients fondly remember her as a devoted and hardworking individual who always put others first.
A woman of many passions, Vee’s proud Italian heritage inspired her cooking and preparing meals in abundance to feed her loved ones, spending time with her family, and caring for her beloved pets. Her culinary skills were legendary among her loved ones, with her kitchen usually filled with delicious aromas and heartfelt conversations. Vee’s love for animals was boundless, and she actively supported numerous charities dedicated to helping those in need, both human and animal alike.
Known for her candid nature and playful spirit, Vee was a prankster at heart, always ready to bring laughter and light to any gathering. Her vibrant personality and infectious smile could brighten the darkest of days, leaving a trail of cherished memories for all who knew her. In celebrating the life of Vincenza “Vee” Cossette, we remember a woman whose love knew no bounds, who lived fully and freely, and whose legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. We will miss her dearly.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM.
