Richard Augustyn, age 74, a lifelong Derby resident, entered into eternal rest in his home on Monday October 26, 2026. He was the devoted husband to Vera (Goncalves) Augustyn. He was born in Derby on July 19, 1952 the son of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Butt) Augustyn.
Richard was a tool & die maker in the manufacturing industry for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed riding his harley and working on classic muscle cars. Rich also had a passion for gardening that was passed down to him from his father.
He is survived by his son Mark Cameron and his wife Elizabeth, his grandchildren Mark Jr., Mira, Eleanor and Benjamin as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Helen and Wanda.
