9:07 a.m. — A Derby Fire Department truck was sent to a call regarding smoke in a building on Main Street in Ansonia.
8:09 a.m. — EMS was sent to help an elderly person who fell inside a residence on Academy Hill Road.
3:36 a.m. — EMS was sent to help a person having trouble breathing on Pine Street.
Sunday, Nov. 1
5:28 p.m. — A car fire was reported on Main Street under the overpass outside the Home Depot entrance.
4:11 p.m. — A resident extinguished an outside fire he had been using on Seventh Street.
3:22 p.m. — A minor car crash was reported near the intersection on Main Street and Derby Avenue.
12:48 p.m. — A caller reported a vehicle bumper in the travel lanes of Route 8 was causing a danger to motorists.
12:24 p.m. — A shoplifter was reported at the CVS on New Haven Avenue.
11:08 a.m. — Police and EMS were sent to Marshall Lane after receiving a report of an assault. The victim may have suffered a concussion after being struck by a brick by a family member.
1:26 a.m. — A rollover crash was reported on Route 8. The initial call to dispatch reported the driver left the wreck.

9:11 p.m. — A possible chimney fire was reported at a residence on Marshall Lane.
1:17 p.m. — A tire came off a vehicle on Pershing Drive.
12:09 p.m. — Police received a report of a hit-and-run car crash on Bank Street.
5:09 a.m. — EMS and fire responded to a report of a vehicle striking a deer on Route 8.

6:47 p.m. — A fallen tree was impeding traffic on Roosevelt Drive near Cullens Hill Road.
5:53 p.m. — EMS and police were sent to Third Street to help a juvenile who may have been having a mental health issue.
1:44 p.m. — A caller said a man and a woman were arguing in a moving vehicle near the intersection of Fifth and Elizabeth streets.

8:09 p.m. — EMS and police were sent to a residence off Derby Avenue to help a person who said he was having trouble with witchcraft.
4:37 p.m. — Smoke was reported inside a building on Minerva Street.
10:56 a.m. — A caller said two people were arguing outside a residence on Minerva Street.
5:00 a.m. — Police were asked to check on a person on General Wooster Road.

4:47 p.m. — A vehicle struck a mailbox on Eighth Street.
10:24 a.m. — A caller from a condo complex on New Haven Avenue reported someone was tampering with surveillance cameras.
